Sit on our veranda’s JFK rockers and watch the small-town world of Jackson Village pass by. Soak up the rays while lounging poolside, or take shelter from a sun-shower in the gazebo .

Or trek down to our private beach on the Wildcat River.   Cool off in the pools on sultry summer afternoons – but don’t disturb the trout where they hide in the riffles. The Wildcat abounds with Brookies and Rainbows here at the confluence of the two rivers. It’s fly fishing only here, and we’ll show you our favorite locations and the most effective flies.

If it’s winter – well – you already know what Jackson is all about. Check out our Ski’n’Stay packages - whether downhill or touring. See how far out into the frozen Wildcat you dare to tread, or practice your figures and slapshots on the pond at nearby Nestlenook Farms. We can arrange a sleigh-ride there too.

Meanwhile back at the Inn…enjoy the artwork, antiques and cozy fireplace in the living room. Or spend a quiet, sun-streamed reverie in the sitting room.

The breakfast room is a bright, sun-basted, cathedral-ceilinged affair with French doors leading to the pool deck out front, or an intimate patio under the pines.

In your room you will experience oriental rugs, luxurious bedding and linens, custom draperies and bed covers, Turkish (really – they’re wonderful) towels, and Gilchrist & Soames bath products.

Choose between traditional rooms in the Inn or suites in the Carriage House. Some Carriage House rooms have kitchenettes, and the upper story chambers have private balconies overlooking the river - and in winter, crisp views of the Presidential Range.
